The Last Words
Unlike
the targeted fiction we usually accept as History, these were the last
words of the Source, the Builders, of the First and greatest race, told
without agenda and without apology. Every emotion, every joy and sorrow,
every experience is there. The whole range of what it is like to be
alive, spelled out in vast interacting dioramas that can only be seen by
those who have a soul. Like Life itself, the dioramas are mutable,
expressing in as many dimensions as the viewer can see. They are not
warnings, nor are they lessons. Somewhere, there may be storerooms full
of high technology, but that is not what they chose to put out for all
to find. For us to find. The legacy they saw as most important
was a simple message, expressed with elegance and yet infinite
complexity:
